On the morning of February 21, 2025, our company Haoquan New Materials, in conjunction with the Sichuan Fire Research Institute of the Emergency Management Department, conducted a fire control experiment titled "Research on the Testing Technology and Operation Method of New Energy Vehicle Fire Control Blankets". The experiment was a complete success!

The fire control blanket used in this experiment is made of high silica glass fiber cloth as the substrate. The product has the following characteristics: long-term temperature resistance of 1000 ℃, instantaneous temperature resistance of 1450 ℃, A1 fire rating, low air permeability and low shrinkage rate, can be reused, and will not produce secondary pollution after use. After the battery caught fire, both inside and outside the car were in a high-temperature environment. After covering, the temperature inside the car quickly dropped from the measurable 800 degrees to 127 degrees Celsius, the temperature under the car dropped from 421 degrees Celsius to 254 degrees Celsius, and the temperature outside the car dropped from 26.7 degrees Celsius to 11.8 degrees Celsius. Successfully controlled the spread of the fire, effectively isolated oxygen, and the fire control blanket did not burn through during the fire. After 60 minutes of covering and uncovering, the flames on the vehicle were extinguished with only a small amount of smoke. Upon opening the battery pack, partial combustion or explosion could be seen inside, with no signs of reignition. The surface of the fire control blanket is not carbonized or damaged, demonstrating its excellent high-temperature resistance.

The success of this new energy vehicle fire control blanket experiment is another important breakthrough we have made in the field of new energy vehicle safety, which can effectively enhance the emergency response capability of new energy vehicle fires and contribute to safeguarding the safety of people's lives and property.
